Spectrum Sciences has been providing broadband Internet services to commercial customers in the Southern Maryland area since 1998.
The bandwidth that feeds Spectrum's Internet Backbone comes directly from QWEST's Internet backbone in Washington, DC via fiber optic cables. Our load balanced, redundant network is monitored 24x7 so you can be assured high quality and highly reliable service.
Commercial Wired Services
Our wired services are fully managed and monitored services. A wired service has two components, a loop (the physical circuit) and a port (the amount of bandwidth that "rides" on the loop). Loop charges in the local area are typically in the $200-$300 range depending on your location and this will be billed directly to you at cost. We will assist you in all aspects of provisioning the loop. Once your loop is set up, you can choose whatever bandwidth you need (port charge). We allow you to upgrade or downgrade your bandwidth at any time to meet your needs or budget!

Spectrum Sciences Internet Ready Buildings
Through partnerships with commercial property owners, we have pre-wired commercial buildings in the area for broadband Internet. If you are a tenant in one of these buildings, all you need to do is "plug in" to our network backbone and you are online! Contact us for details.
